New To The Family: Ilia, Antonym, and Han

April 28, 2017

Around the time I decided to take the plunge on a few wishlist items last week came the realization that all of them could be found on the Credo Beauty site (does anyone else endlessly search for that one website where you can find every item on your list?). I’ve never ordered from Credo, so I was excited to see what the experience was like from their company. For standard shipping, my order arrived surprisingly fast (2-3 days, I believe) and each item was carefully wrapped inside.

Han Bronzer in ‘Malibu’

When Han released their pressed bronzer last year, I knew I would undoubtedly be trying it. The holdup at the time was that I wanted to finish off my Too Faced Milk Chocolate first. I know, Milk Chocolate is not a very clean product. It was basically my last conventional one to be used up though, and I just hate to throw money down the drain. One step at a time, right? Since recently saying adios to that one, I could now justify ordering the Han bronzer.

So far I have really been loving Malibu. It is a matte soft brown shade that is easy to blend and adds just the right amount of color. I have not been missing Milk Chocolate one bit! The size of the compact is about that of a standard blush. I actually like that it is smaller than most bronzers, as it makes for easy transporting. Plus I’ll actually have a shot at finishing this up before it expires. Finally, can we talk about the price? Just $16. That is hard to beat, especially for this kind of quality!

Ilia Lip Conditioner in ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘In Paradise’

After getting my first Lip Conditioner in March, I had my Ilia aha! moment. I now know what my lips have been missing. These babies are super moisturizing and creamy, while offering incredible color payoff. I spent days (yes, literally days) narrowing it down to just two shades. I had already tried a sample of Bang Bang, and knew I needed that color. It is a perfect red lip that anyone can pull off. You can dab it on for a stain effect, or build up the color for a bold red lip. I recently wore it to a wedding, and it lasted quite well. When it wears off, it does so quite naturally. I’m not usually a red lip girl, but this is changing my mind. I think In Paradise is going to become my go-to color for the summer. It is a bright corally pink shade and actually more visible on my lips than I had imagined, which I am thrilled about! As someone with naturally darker lips, I usually have a difficult time with light lip colors showing up.

Antonym Baked Blush in ‘Rose’

Living on my radar for years, I knew the time had come to say hello to this beauty. I had previously tried a sample of this in Peach, so I already knew that it was an incredibly soft and blendable blush. It was by a happy accident that Credo was out of Peach at the time, so I ordered Rose instead. I could not be happier with this blush. It mimics my natural flush tone, adding a gorgeous sweep of pigment without overdosing on color. Can I get an amen?!

Swatched from top to bottom: Antonym Baked Blush in ‘Rose,’ Han Bronzer in ‘Malibu,’ Ilia Lip Conditioner in ‘Bang Bang,’ and Ilia Lip Conditioner in ‘In Paradise.’

I’ve really been liking it so far! It adds color, but not too much so it looks very natural.

Great post! I just ordered 2 new Ilia lipsticks (Darlin’ and Bombora) and their new Cucumber Water Stick. The ilia lipsticks are by far my favorite!
